Ready for the PlayStation Conference later today? We bet you are! But you can get the E3 party started early as the last 48 hours saw a spate of surprise game releases. EA’s yarn-based puzzle platformer Unravel Two, Bethesda’s addictive Fallout Shelter and the lunar-bound DLC for Prey, Mooncrash, are all available on PlayStation Store right now.
But that isn’t all this week has in store: create your own dinosaur theme park with Jurassic World Evolution or blow away your enemies as Ratchet & Clank in the hectic Super Bomberman R.
Let’s take a run through this week’s highlights and, as always, the full release schedule.
Unravel Two
Why you should play it: EA delivered the first surprise announcement of the week, with a reveal – and release – of a colourful sequel to its 2016 platformer, Unravel. Take on the role of Yarny and friend and use their threads in inventive ways to overcome puzzles and platforming challenges. The game can be played solo (switching between the two) or in co-op.

Jurassic World Evolution
Why you should play it: Ever dreamed about having a dinosaur – or a few dozen – as pets? Well, dream no longer. Build your own prehistoric amusement park in Jurassic World Evolution and become director of the ultimate tourist attraction. Take charge of the legendary islands of the Muertes archipelago and showcase the wonder, majesty and danger of Earth’s most incredible beasts, all brought back from extinction.
- Available: 12th June
Fallout Shelter
Why you should play it: Take control of your very own underground Vault from Vault-Tec. Build and organise the perfect shelter, take care of your dwellers to make sure they’re happy, hunt for supplies and protect your inhabitants from the dangers of the wasteland.
- Available: Now
Prey: Mooncrash
Why you should play it: Fight overwhelming odds to escape the secret TranStar moon base. But be wary: each time you play you will have to overcome different challenges. The enemies you encounter, the hazards you face, the goals you complete, and the loot you collect will change for a dynamic and infinitely replayable challenge. Note: you’ll need the base game Prey to play this DLC.
- Available: Now
Super Bomberman R
Why you should play it: Bomberman is back, and he’s brought some friends! And what better way to welcome Bomberman to PlayStation than getting PS icons Ratchet & Clank to help our hero save a whole new galaxy? Take down the Evil Emperor Buggler alone or with a friend in Story mode, or test your ballistic abilities in multiplayer Battle Mode, either locally or online in an explosive eight-player showdown!
- Available: 14th June
