L’app Riproduzione remota PS4 consente ai fan di PlayStation di riprodurre in streaming i giochi da PS4 e/o utilizzare un sistema PlayStation 4 tramite una connessione wireless su un PC, Mac o dispositivo Apple [connesso alla stessa rete Wi-Fi?]. Ciò significa che potrai:

Quali sono i requisiti per utilizzare Riproduzione remota PS4 sui dispositivi Apple?

Per utilizzare le funzioni di riproduzione remota sono necessari l’app Riproduzione remota connessa a una rete Wi-Fi, un gioco compatibile, un sistema PS4 con versione del software 6.5 o superiore, iPhone 7, iPad 6 o iPad di seconda generazione aggiornato alla versione iOS 12.1 o successiva, e una connessione Internet ad alta velocità. È consigliabile utilizzare un sistema PS4 con una connessione cablata tramite cavo LAN.

Serve un ID PSN per utilizzare l’app Riproduzion?

Come faccio ad associare il mio controller wireless DUALSHOCK 4 al mio dispositivo Apple?

Se stai utilizzando per la prima volta un controller con il tuo dispositivo Apple, devi seguire la procedura indicata di seguito per associare i dispositivi tramite Bluetooth:

  • Assicurati che la barra luminosa sul controller sia spenta. Se la barra luminosa è accesa, premi il tasto PS fino a che non si spegne. Se il controller è collegato a un cavo USB, scollega il cavo.
  • Tenendo premuto il tasto SHARE, tieni premuto il tasto PS finché la barra luminosa non inizia a lampeggiare.
  • Attiva il Bluetooth sul tuo dispositivo e seleziona il controller dall’elenco dei dispositivi Bluetooth visualizzati. Al termine dell’associazione, la barra luminosa si illumina con una luce colorata fissa.

Your guide to using your Dualshock 4 wireless controller with Apple devices

With the new updates to Apple’s OS for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, PlayStation fans can use a Dualshock 4 wireless controller to play their favourite PS4 games on an iPad, iPhone or Mac via the PS4 Remote Play app*, and/or enjoy hundreds of controller-supported games on your Apple device.

In light of the news, we pulled together this list of frequently asked questions to help you understand how you can take advantage of the controller’s capabilities with your Apple device.

Your guide to using your Dualshock 4 wireless controller with Apple devices

What operating system do I need to use to play games on my Apple device using my Dualshock 4 wireless controller?
The Dualshock 4 wireless controller can be paired with your Apple device when updated to the following operating systems:

  • iOS 13
  • iPad OS
  • macOS Catalina (coming October 2019)**
  • tv OS 13

**Apple devices with macOS High Sierra or macOS Mojave operating systems will continue to be able to connect their devices to Dualshock 4 by using a USB cable or a Dualshock 4 USB wireless adaptor (sold separately) for PS4 Remote Play.

What games can I play with my Dualshock 4 wireless controller on Apple devices?
There are two main ways to play games with your Dualshock 4 wireless controller on Apple devices:

  1. Stream compatible PS4 games directly to your iPad, iPhone or Mac through the PS4 Remote Play app*.
  2. Play hundreds of games with MFi controller support, including titles coming to the new Apple Arcade subscription service***, on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac devices.

***Apple Arcade subscription service subject to Apple Arcade subscription service terms of use.

What is the PlayStation 4 Remote Play app?
The PS4 Remote Play app allows PlayStation fans to stream games from and/or operate a PlayStation 4 via a wireless connection on a PC, Mac or Apple device. This means:

  1. Displaying the PS4 screen on your mobile device;
  2. Using the on-screen controller and/or the DS4 on your mobile device to control your PS4;
  3. Picking up a paused game and/or starting to play a new one from the PS4 home screen;
  4. Joining voice chats using the mic on your mobile device.

Where can I get the Remote Play app?
If you have not already installed the PS4 Remote Play app on your Apple device, you can download it from the Apple Store here for iOS, and here for macOS.

What is required for PS4 Remote Play on Apple devices?
Remote Play requires Remote Play App connected to Wi-Fi, compatible game, PS4 system with software version 6.5 or higher, iPhone 7, iPad 6, or second-generation iPad with iOS 12.1 or higher installed, and high-speed internet connection. A PS4 system with a wired connection via a LAN cable is also recommended.

Do I need a PSN ID to use the Remote Play app?
Yes.

How do I pair my Dualshock 4 wireless controller with my Apple device?
If you are using a controller with your Apple device for the first time, you will need to follow the steps below to pair them together using Bluetooth:

  1. Make sure the light bar on the controller is off. If the light bar is on, press the PS button until it turns off. If a USB cable is connected to the controller, disconnect it.
  2. While pressing and holding the SHARE button, press and hold the PS button until the light bar flashes.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your device, and then select the controller from the list of Bluetooth devices. When pairing is complete, the light bar turns a solid color.

Are all Dualshock 4 wireless controller features available on my Apple devices?
Depending on the Apple device, there may be some controller features that are not supported. These include: touch pad, vibration function, motion sensor, and the headphone jack for audio pass through.

Additionally, Apple users will still need to use your Apple device’s onscreen touch controls to access the PS, SHARE and OPTIONS buttons when playing games via the PS4 Remote Play app on some devices.

Need to get into a smaller area to leave a bomb at an enemy base? Try hopping out of your Mobile suit to nimbly navigate the battlefield as an infantry unit. Backed into a corner? Request supporting fire to assist you in your escape. See an enemy Gundam approach while you’re still on foot in Infantry mode? Hop back into your Mobile Suit and prepare for battle.

While Mobile Suits are powerful mechs to use for many battles and exploration, some tasks are best handled on foot. Remember to switch between the best mode for your goals and scenario!

Collect and customise your Mobile Suit

Take your Development Points from each battle to improve your Mobile Suit’s abilities and enhance it with various cosmetic customisations. Try upgrades like boosting your speed, powering up you cannons, and strengthening your armour to become even stronger.

With a sizable selection of Mobile Suits from all over the Gundam universe, you’ll be able to curate and expand your Mobile Suit collection with ease.

Meet with friends (or enemies) at the Base Camp

Take a break between battles and meet with players from around the world in the online lobby at the Base Camp. In the Base Camp neutral area, you’ll be able to make battle preparations and freely explore the site and people around camp. Upgrade your Mobile Suit and max it out to its highest potential.
