Far Cry 4 arrives today on PS4 and PS3

From the treacherous peaks of the Himalayas to the surreal temples of Shangri-La, every moment spent in Far Cry 4‘s Kyrat is a story, and now you can experience it for yourself on PS4 and PS3. You play as Ajay Ghale, returning to your place of birth to scatter your mother’s ashes.

Poor Ajay has no idea what he’s walking into. The country of Kyrat is under the rule of Pagan Min, a charming psychopath who has made himself the King. Now stuck in the middle of a civil war, every choice you make will determine the future of Kyrat and its people.

Far Cry 4

But you don’t have to go it alone. Guns for Hire (Far Cry 4′s co-op mode) allows you to join up with a friend to explore Kyrat. Take to the sky in the gyrocopter to rain destruction from above, or charge through the world together on the backs of elephants. You can even punch a tiger in the face, if that’s what you’re into.

If you’re feeling competitive, hop into the multiplayer. Play one round as the Golden Path rebels and the next round as the mysterious and mystical Rakshasa. As a Golden Path soldier you’ll have the full force of modern weaponry at your disposal. Lay waste to your opponents with machine guns and heavy artillery. The Rakshasa are a bit less grounded in reality. As a Rakshasa warrior you can summon wild animals to come to your aid and make use of the swarm and blink arrows to gain the upper hand. Should you get overwhelmed, you can simply vanish into thin air and give the Golden Path the slip.

Far Cry 4

Players who pick up Far Cry 4 on PS4 or PS3 will get 10 exclusive Keys to Kyrat. Send a key to your friend on PlayStation Network and enjoy a free, two-hour co-op trial in the game’s wide open world. So even if your buddy doesn’t have a copy of the game, they can still hop in and help you liberate some outposts or go big-game hunting in the valleys of Kyrat. Create your own one-of-a-kind adventures in the living world. You’ll never run out of things to do and see in Far Cry 4.

Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender DX coming soon to PS4 and PS Vita

Hi there, my name is Dugan, founder of Tikipod Ltd, a super-small video game developer based in the UK. I’m very excited to introduce our crazy action-packed cat-based underwater shoot ‘em up, Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender DX!
Originally an award winning PlayStation Mobile launch title, we have been working hard to overhaul and enhance the game for a brand new release onto PS4 and PS Vita 26th November.
Aqua Kitty DX
Not heard of Aqua Kitty before? Well let me explain the unusual story a little…
Due to a sudden shortage of milk, cats around the world are forced to seek out new sources to get their fix.You and your team of milk mining kittens have overcome a fear of water to drill down under the ocean seabed and begin extracting vast reserves of what seems to be naturally forming full-fat milk.
You have to blast your way through hordes of mechanical sea monsters in your powerful kitty submarine and defend the deep sea milk-mining kittens!
Aqua Kitty DX
The core to your survival is managing the submarines secondary turbo-fire. It has limited energy but recharges itself between uses and gets upgraded as you progress through the game.
There are various pick-ups to collect to help you out, dropped by special speedy gold and silver fish which you must chase down. The type of pick-up dropped depends on the sea depth they are at, so keep an eye on the colour of the indicator eye of those particular fish when shot.
Aqua Kitty DX
We have added a raft of ‘mew’ additions to the game, and I will list just a few key ones:
  • Extra directional fire options are really helpful, as they allow you to shoot down any aerial robo jellyfish attempting to abduct mining kittens.
  • Large mechanical bosses guard the end of each area, and must be dispatched of course to progress onward.
  • Perhaps you feel the normal game mode is too hard for you? No problem, there is now an optional easy mode campaign.
  • Arcade mode adds a fantastic all new twist to the core gameplay. Imagine it like a blend of arcade classics Gradius and Defender. You collect special gems which can be used to purchase your power-up upgrades.
AKDX_04
Developing on PlayStation has been a great experience, and we have added all sorts of visual upgrades like glows, extra particles, distortion effects and large multi layered parallax skies. Both PS4 and PS Vita run at 60hz of course. The PS4 version renders at full HD 1080p (it actually renders at 4K resolution to the console GPU!) and has optional two player local co-op.
Aqua Kitty DX is coming to PlayStation Store on 26th November with Cross-Buy, giving you both versions for one price!
You can follow me on Twitter @TIKIPODltd and check out the game website over at http://tikipod.com/aquakitty/.
THE MILK MUST FLOW!

Top Deadliest And Most Intimidating DC Villains of All Time

The DC universe has astounded us over the past few decades by creating some phenomenal characters such as Batman and Superman. However it went one step ahead by giving us some absolutely crazy villains that no other book or novel could ever make us love and hate these characters.
What’s so great about characters such as Joker, Penguin, Two Face, Lex Luthor and many more is that it reflects what humans can actually be, if they are pushed over the edge and have everything taken from them, and have an obsession for chaos, control and total domination. We now come to the precipice and we try to discover and explain the many villains who have made Batman, Green Lantern and the Flash fight for their lives. These are the villains who have managed to leave their mark on DC’s comics, and on our lives as well.

80. Arkham Knight

Yes I know! The game is not even out yet, but I felt the need to include this villain, because for the past couple of months it has been a great subject of discussion among Batman fans. Fans are speculating that he is Damian Wayne (the son of Batman). All these points are valid no doubt, but what really interested me about the Arkham Knight was his ability to go head to head with Batman, by not only brawns but brains as well. We will just have to see and wait till 2015 to find out who the Arkham Knight really is.
