This week, PlayStation Store welcomes new Metal Gear coop survival spin-off, Metal Gear Survive. Team up with friends and fight off waves of enemies in hectic battles.
Elsewhere, strap in for some action RPG goodness in Sword Art Online, while Rad Rodgers will take you straight back to the joys of classic ’90s platformers. Apex Construct takes you to a puzzling dystopian future filled with robots on PS VR, while The Residence DLC is the final chapter of Little Nightmare’s spine-chilling adventure.
1. Metal Gear Survive
Metal Gear Survive picks up the action right after the destruction of Mother Base in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Through a dimensional portal, Big Boss’ Militaires Sans Frontières enter an alternate reality where their survival skills will be put to the test.
- Why you should play it: Join the multiplayer arena and team up with friends in intense four-player co-op battles against waves of enemies.
- Find out more: 5 things you need to know about Metal Gear Survive’s beta, starting tomorrow on PS4
- Available: 22nd February
2. Apex Construct
From former Battlefield and Mirror’s Edge developers comes Apex Construct, a striking action/adventure for PS VR. In a dystopian future where merciless robots have taken over and two powerful AIs are fighting it out, you will need to explore this apocalyptic world armed only with a bow and solve puzzles to uncover its darkest secrets.
- Why you should play it: Discover an atmospheric and combat-driven action adventure designed exclusively for virtual reality.
- Find out more: Battle robotic foes & solve puzzles in futuristic PS VR adventure Apex Construct, out 20th February

3. Little Nightmares: The Residence
Get your torch and prepare for the third and final chapter of Little Nightmares. Dive into a dark tale and solve puzzles as Six faces the terrors of childhood in the mysterious and ominous Residence.
- Why you should play it: Tarsier Studios’ last chapter will close Six’s eerie adventure in this surreal dollhouse of horrors.
- Find out more: How deliciously dark PS4 adventure Little Nightmares took shape
- Available: 23rd February
4. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
Sword Art Online’s latest virtual world is one of guns rather than swords. Following the events of the hit anime Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, Fatal Bullet lets you create your own avatar and enter the virtual world of Gun Gale Online, a first-person shooter roleplay game.
- Why you should play it: Dive in the immersive world of Sword Art Online and play with friends in competitive and cooperative online modes.
- Available: 23rd February
5. Rad Rodgers
Retro-platformer Rad Rodgers comes to PS4! Follow the adventures of Rad, a mischievous young boy who plays too many video games, and his sentient console Dusty through fun-filled levels of platforming action.
