After an incredibly successful Gamescom show, where PES 2016 broke a record as the only game to win the Best Sports Game award two years in a row, the demo finally arrives for everyone to enjoy!
Our players will finally be able to experience for themselves the smoothest and most reactive controls to ever come to the series and unrivalled in the sports genre. Thanks to a combination of our new collision system, increased amount of animations (3x as many as PES 2015!) and the improved team mate AI, the gameplay flow will not only be smoother, but much more aggressive than last year!
Those lucky few to attend our Gamescom show, left us with some great impressions, where they praised the quick passing and smart movements from their team mates off the ball, but the most repeated comment we had was, “It’s just really fun to play!”.
That was the best compliment we could ever hope to receive, as our main focus is and always will be the gameplay, and all we ever really want is for our players to be able to get in the game as quickly as possible, with no fuss, and just really have a good time and leave all their day to day problems aside for a few minutes.
With that in mind, this year’s demo is packed with as many options as we could fit, to ensure you can really get a feel for what you can expect this year on release.
The demo includes all difficulty modes this year, alongside the possibility to completely turn off pass support, for our truly hardcore fans, and the ability to choose your match duration between 7 and 10 minutes.
You will also experience our new weather effects and be able to switch between night and day, and even get your eyes on our new 20th anniversary ball!
To ensure that our players can get into the game as fast as possible (and avoid confusion) the demo will not include commentaries. But fear not! The final version will include commentaries from our true and tested talents and some new faces!
Without further ado, here are all our confirmed commentators for PES 2016:
