When Hotline Miami released on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in 2013 it delivered a tight run and gun shooter experience dripping with an unmistakable visual style and dark story that struck a chord with gamers worldwide. Some would argue that while the game itself was a modern classic it was the pulsing soundtrack that might have been the most memorable part of Hotline Miami and a large part of the game’s legacy.
With the arrival of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number comes an incredible new soundtrack with 49 tracks from dozens of artists from around the world. While we don’t want to spoil the full track listing – it’s best experienced in the context of the game – the team thought it would be interesting to highlight their favourite tracks for the PlayStation community and give a little sample of the audio fun awaiting in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. The game itself is available now on PlayStation Network and is a Cross-Buy title across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
