We’re back with a fresh batch of new releases hitting PlayStation Store this week. Liberate Paris from Nazi occupation in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, command an army in Wargroove or go on a rhythmic adventure in Songbird Symphony.
Check out our list of highlights below and head over to PlayStation Store for the full line-up of this week’s new games.
Wargroove | Out: 23rd July
Why it should be on your radar:
Chucklefish delivers a strategy game with retro turn-based combat for up to four players. Choose your commander from over 12 characters, each with their unique personalities and special ‘Groove’ abilities. Command an army, challenge your friends and unleash your creativity by creating your own maps, campaigns and stories.
Fantasy Strike | Out: 25th July
Why it should be on your radar:
This colourful indie title by Sirlin Games blends fantasy and martial arts, and is perfect for those of you who want something easy to learn but difficult to master. All moves are just a single button press and combos are easy to perform. Choose from a roster of diverse characters with quirky powers including wind, fire, ghosts, gambling, paint and even the ability to control time itself.
Songbird Symphony | Out: 25th July
Why it should be on your radar:
If a musical adventure sounds like your jam, you should pick up Joysteak Studios’ rhythm-based platformer. Join the adorable chick Birb as he sings, bounces and engages in rhythm battles on his heart-warming journey to discover his true origins. Explore a magical world of beautiful pixel art and animation that adapts to your musical interactions.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood | Out: 26th July
Why it should be on your radar:
You can team up with a friend or AI in the first modern co-op Wolfenstein adventure by Bethesda. Play as one of the badass twins Jess or Soph Blazkowicz and embark on a mission to find their missing father as you liberate Paris from the Nazis. Perform tag-team manoeuvres and unleash devastating new weapons and abilities on your foes as you fight your way through the City of Love.
Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot | Out: 26th July
Why it should be on your radar:
If you’re up for even more immersive freedom fighting, keep an eye out for Bethesda’s PS VR shooter that casts you as a daring hacker on a mission to take control of Nazi war machines. Ram, shoot and burn your way through Paris as you liberate the City of Love using your enemies’ weapons against them. So satisfying…
