Hey, PS Blog team: watcha playin’ this week?
Corey – “I’ve been suffering the eternal torment of Darkest Dungeon, of late, trying not to get diseased, bleed out or, you know, die horribly. Failing on the ‘stress’ point, though. Both in, and out of the game. *shudder*”
Rhys – “Now that the team PS VR headset has arrived in the office, it’s become harder to pretend to be working while actually playing games (I’m joking Fred, I’m really busy, honest). Regardless, I got my head stuck into Until Dawn: Rush of Blood this week and tried not to further blow my cover by jumping out of my skin every 10 seconds and yelping. Back in the real world I’ve also been a terrible commander to my troops in XCOM 2.”
Matthew – “I’ve had a serious yen for some 2D Metroidvania lately, so I downloaded Apotheon from the Instant Game Collection and have been working my way through that. It might not reach the dizzy heights of the genre’s classics, but with an impressive art style and a great selection of weapons, it’s definitely worth a look!”
Gillen – “Restarting my school year in Persona 4 Golden. Due to unexpected circumstances I had to cut short my inaugural semester in 2015, with my last memory being repeatedly killed in the Shadow Yukiko clash. Thankfully I’ve had a chance to re-enroll recently, so it’s back to fascinating high school drama (and a lower level of dungeon difficulty).”
