Phew, what a week. The feverishly anticipated No Man’s Sky finally has a release date and we’ve got more information about how you’ll interact with NPCs in the game’s procedurally-generated universe. Elsewhere, the Uncharted 4 multiplayer open weekend is in full swing, we now know what features will be in the next PS4 system software update, we’ve a fresh batch of discounts on PlayStation Store and, as ever, we took the wraps off a number of brand new games.

1. MLB The Show 16 gets PAL digital release next month
San Diego Studio’s acclaimed baseball sim is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on 29th March! Slow down critical moments for maximum control with ShowTime and The Road to the Show is back with more personalisation than ever!
2. Chaotic co-op cooking game Overcooked announced for PS4
The co-operative culinary experience from Ghost Town Games sees you and a team of friends work together prepare, cook and deliver food. Communicate with your team of chefs to navigate fires and rodent infestations, not to mention troublesome kitchen environments like the back of a truck or a pirate ship!
3. PS4 3.50 system software update – key features detailed
The closed beta for PS4’s next major system software update, Musashi (or 3.50), kicked off on 2nd March. We’re bringing some great new features with this latest update, making it easier to connect and play with friends and the wider community.
4. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter release date confirmed, first trailer debuts
Step into the shoes of the legendary super sleuth once again with Frogwares’ latest Sherlock Holmes adventure, The Devil’s Daughter. Expect a taut crime thriller with plenty of puzzles to solve when the game releases on 27th May 2016.
5. New on PlayStation Store: Heavy Rain, Mortal Kombat XL, Screencheat, more
An eclectic batch of new titles for you this week. Two of Quantic Dream’s modern classics have been remastered for PS4 in The Heavy Rain & Beyond: Two Souls Collection. Get the ultimate fighting experience with Mortal Kombat XL. And dive into the decidedly dishonest multiplayer FPS Screencheat, where you have to look at the other players’ screen!
6. No Man’s Sky gets a release date and the ambitious NPC system is revealed
The epic space-exploration saga No Man’s Sky finally has a release date, so you can look forward to exploring the game’s 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 unique planets on 22nd June. Plus, Hello Games’ Sean Murray dropped some details about how you will be interacting with NPCs by “learning” their alien languages. We can hardly wait!

7. Spend €100 on PlayStation Store, get an extra €15
