1. Tearaway Unfolded lights up PS4

Media Molecule‘s delightful papercraft themed adventure arrived on PS4 this week, following a successful run on PS Vita. To mark the occasion, our UK team rebuilt London out of paper!

2. Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture storms the PlayStation Store charts

It was great to see The Chinese Room‘s PlayStation exclusive do such big numbers in its first month on sale – it’s one of the fastest selling PS4 digital-only titles ever.

3. Pioneering PS2 vehicular combat game returns in Hardware Rivals

So, who saw this one coming? One of the first online PS2 games, Hardware: Online Arena, is getting a sequel! Expect explosive car-on-car combat rendered in vibrant primary colours. More info on this one soon.

4. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a digital discount

CD Projekt Red‘s enormous open world epic is going to be in with a good shout of GOTY gongs come year end. If you haven’t got involved yet, now’s the time – it’s 29% off on PlayStation Store this week.

5. The BIT.TRIP team return with Laserlife

The talented folks behind the well-loved BIT.TRIP series are back with a new game – the intriguing Laserlife. It’s “an interactive biography about a dead astronaut floating through deep space”. Sign me up.

6. SOMA’s terrifying creatures step out of the shadows

PS4 sci-fi horror SOMA is nearly upon us, and it looks agonisingly tense. A new trailer debuted this week showing off some of the terrifying foes that lie in wait. One for fans of Alien Isolation, methinks.

7. Grand Theft Auto Online gets Freemode Events

GTA Online gets a hefty update on 15th September, adding new Freemode Events – a range of seamlessly integrated games and challenges – among a number of other new features.

8. FIFA 16 demo makes its debut

Yes, it’s that time of year again. Find out what new bells and whistles EA has added to its annual footie franchise ahead of launch later this month.

9. Driveclub gets a permanent price cut
